Beyoona’s products are made from 100% New Zealand wool, sourced from farms operating under the Animal Welfare Act (1999), where mulesing (the removal of skin to prevent flystrike) has been legally banned since 2018, with heavy penalties for violations. Each shipment from Nepal to the Netherlands is fully CO₂-compensated through donations to Trees for All. The wool used in Beyoona’s products is RWS-certified (Responsible Wool Standard), ensuring that sheep and land are treated with care and respect. The RWS was developed by experts in animal welfare, farmers, brands, retailers, and industry associations with the goal of improving the lives of sheep and protecting the environment.
